Raft slides that drop into a wide open funnel and sweep riders up its walls — the shape a park puts on its billboards.
The funnel is a park's signature shape. It reads from outside the perimeter, it photographs well, and it is the attraction most often used in marketing. It is also the most demanding: the large unit needs a 14 m tower, 1,340 m² of plot and 90 kW.
The compact version gives the same recognisable form at 3 m and 150 m². It is not the same ride, but for a site that cannot take the full unit it is often the right answer.
