Water park equipment supplier in the UAE
Based in Al Warsan, Dubai, supplying commercial aquatic equipment to hotels, resorts, developers, municipalities and family entertainment centres across all seven emirates.
We are a UAE company. Astralux Pools LLC operates from a showroom in Al Warsan 2, Dubai, and the UAE is both our home market and the one where we can move fastest — same time zone, road delivery rather than sea freight, and direct conversation with your contractor rather than an intermediary in another country.
What the UAE market actually buys
The demand here has a distinct shape, and it is not the shape of a European market.
Hotels and resorts dominate. A property competing for family bookings needs an aquatic offer, and the practical question is almost always what can be added to an existing pool deck without rebuilding the pool. That points to compact and mid-size play structures, family wide slides, and splash pad features on adjacent deck.
Residential developments are the fastest-growing segment. Community pools in new master developments increasingly include a children's water feature as standard, and the specification usually lands with the developer's landscape contractor rather than a leisure consultant.
Municipalities buy splash pads for public parks, where the drivers are supervision cost and water consumption rather than thrill.
Family entertainment centres and destination water parks buy the large equipment — towers, wave systems, lazy rivers — but there are relatively few of these projects and they run on long timelines.
Climate drives the specification
This is the single biggest difference between supplying the UAE and supplying almost anywhere else, and it is where imported specifications most often fail.
- Surface temperature. Unshaded fibreglass and deck surfaces exceed 50 °C for a large part of the year. This is a burn risk and an attraction-closure risk, not a comfort issue. Shade over splash pads and light-coloured surfacing are effectively mandatory.
- UV degradation. Standard-specification gelcoat chalks and fades far faster here than in temperate markets. Ask what the warranty actually covers under Gulf exposure, because a warranty written for European conditions may not respond.
- Water temperature. Pools can become uncomfortably warm in summer. Chilling is a real consideration on some projects and is designed in, not added later.
- Water consumption. Tariffs make drain-to-waste splash pads expensive to run. Recirculation usually pays back quickly.
- Dust. Filtration loading is higher than manufacturers' default assumptions. Size accordingly.
Approvals
Aquatic installations are regulated at emirate level and requirements differ between emirates. Design approval, water treatment approval, and safety sign-off for publicly accessible installations are commonly involved. Start this before ordering equipment — an approval condition that changes a specification is cheap to accommodate at order and expensive afterwards. See importing water park equipment to the UAE.
Delivery across the emirates
Equipment arrives through Jebel Ali and moves by road. Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman are same-day from clearance; Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain are next-day. For most projects the road leg is the least of the timeline — production and sea freight dominate. Plan on four to six months from order to site.
What we do and do not do
We supply equipment. We do not carry out civil works, pool construction or installation, and we do not present ourselves as a contractor. Your contractor builds the pool, deck and foundations; we supply the equipment that goes in them along with the drawings and specifications your engineer needs to design around it.
